Getting accepted is just the first step. Orientation at IDeA World College is where that acceptance becomes the start of campus life, the bridge between finishing school and beginning a design education, built to help new students feel welcomed, informed, and ready for what’s ahead.
Orientation at IDeA World College is a complete introduction to campus life. It includes a campus tour, introductions to faculty, a walkthrough of course structure, and an introduction to student support services, giving new students everything they need to start the academic year with confidence.
Alongside this, students take part in guided creative workshops led by practising artists, covering skills like sketching, craft techniques, and illustration. The specific workshop lineup varies by batch.
Fashion Design and Interior Design students attend orientation together, in combined sessions rather than separate discipline-specific tracks.
Orientation runs at the start of the academic year, and its duration depends on the program: two weeks for Degree (B.Des.) students and three days for Diploma students.
