Resources and Infrastructure

This page formally records what supports teaching and learning at IDeA World College: labs, technology, software, and academic materials. For a visual, come-visit-us look at our campuses, see Facilities; this page is the itemised inventory behind it.

Research Foundation

Learning & Library Resources

Good design starts with good research, and a library gives students the material foundation for that: reference books on design history and theory, international design journals and trend publications, material and textile references, case studies from design movements around the world, and access to the kind of research every design student draws on long after a brief is assigned. IDeA World College offers a library for students, supporting exactly this kind of research and reference work alongside studio learning.

Practical Training

Design Labs & Studio Resources

Fashion Design students train across three dedicated spaces, exclusive to the Fashion Design program:

Textile Lab

where students study fabric, fibre, and material behaviour.

Pattern-Making & Draping Lab

where sketches become garments through pattern cutting, draping, and construction practice.

Fashion Studio

the program's working heart, used for design development, fittings, and studio critiques.

Interior Design students work through their own dedicated studio and lab time, covering space planning, materials, and model making.
